Yesterday we got back from California. We had a great time.
Fun things we did:
-We went out with Michael's friend to an amazing Mexican food restaurant. I loved the food and I wish I had some more right now.
-We stayed in a ghetto hotel which scared me at first but ended up being the perfect place for us.
-We rented a car for the first time and didn't get too lost.
-Went to where Michael served his mission and he told me fun stories as he drove me around, pointing out cool places.
-We went to a Protestant Sunday service and I was happy to learn that there are still people besides Mormons who hold to their values.
-We went to Michael's favorite ward from his mission and he introduced me to lots of cool people. They were sooooo excited to meet Michael's wife and I could really tell that they all loved Michael.
-We went to Anne's house for dinner and ate with her parents and her sisters. The food was yummy and it was so good to see her. We had lots of fun and it made me sooo happy. Her mom even sent us home with homemade cookies!!!
-We went to the aquarium and touched sharks.
-We went to Inn and Out.
-We went to the beach and I buried Michael so that all you could see was his face.
-We went to Disneyland and California Adventure and went on lots of cool rides. The best part was that we got in for FREEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!

My life
I sat down at the computer to look up directions from the airport to our hotel because we are going to CALIFORNIA!! but I got distracted and started reading everybody's blog. Maybe I should just rent a GPS for our rent a car so I don't have to look up directions and just read everybody's blogs all day long.
Anyways, I love reading everybody's blog. It makes me happy. It also makes me miss all my friends. But that's life. I guess I should start making new friends. I am working on it but let me tell you, it's not easy. And by the way Janelle, you are not one of my followers. I am offended. Does Amy have a blog??
Michael and I are going to California for a few days. We are going to visit where he went on his mission (Anaheim) and while we are there we are going to Disneyland!! We are so excited and Michael can't wait to go and hang out with all the Disney princesses. ha... We might even get to hang out with Anne!
I have really enjoyed not having school or work. I picked up my cap and gown and I am actually getting excited about graduating! It is pretty fun but I can't believe that I don't ever have to go to school again. It's a nice thought.

LOL...I got Michael to start a blog. What have I done??
I am not too good at being lazy. After being on vacation for 2 hours, I got bored and then starting reading a book from school. Wow, what a loser I am. I got tired of reading that book so I went to the pool. Of course I go to the pool and the sun decides to hide behind the clouds. There was absolutely noooo sun! Let's just say that it was pointless to sit by the pool. I then got bored from that so I went to the gym. I saw that it was 3:56 so I quickly changed and ran to the gym so that I could watch Gilmore Girls which starts at 4. I made it on time, only to see that it was a re-run that I had seen very recently. Too bad, but I guess it got me to the gym. By the way, we don't have cable so I have to go to the gym to watch the shows that I want. Lol...you think that I would be in better shape by now. After running for 20 minutes, Michael called me. He got home early. So I ran home to be with him. I love it when Michael gets home early. And it was so good to have human contact after being at home alone all day long. He wrote his paper and I watched one of our 5 channels. Then he made me play sequence with him. He beat me three times in a row. Then we played foosball. He beat me there too. I think that I am losing my touch. Anyways, I bet that you are bored by now. Me too. Why does everyone have to work during the day? They should just quit their jobs and come and sit by the pool with me...

I just finished writing my last paper of graduate school. I have one more class on Wednesday where I have to give a short presentation. Then I am done!!!! It feels good and I know that I should relax but I still feel like I have so much to do. Does it ever end??
Michael and I went to youth conference this weekend. They made me dress like a pioneer. That was awkward. I was known as Sister Flournoy. That was funny. And everyone knew Michael. We would be walking and then someone would say "Flournoy!!" I am getting used to my new name. They made me sleep in a tent and then it started storming and there was lots and lots of lightning. I was kind of scared and of course we got pretty wet in our tent. I pulled the blanket over me head and pretended like I was dry and warm. What kind of people go camping in the rain!! It wasn't too bad. We had fun and it was our first time camping together. Plus, we got out of teaching nursery. Lol...
